Fantastic.

I loved it. Nothing at all that I can complain about. Great art style, great animation, fitting sounds. Do want more!

Epic.

I laughed (and most will for the same reason), because I, too, knew fat fucking assholes like this in high school. XD

Animation could definitely use a little oomph though. There were some impressive, smooth parts and then other parts that seemed rushed. You could probably combine the two and get a nice style going on.

tankbuster781 responds:

The last part was rushed because my friends kept on saying, "FINISH IT!" and stuff.
also, this was really done in probably an hour or so.

Not bad.

In fact, downright decent. The animation and style was smooth and enjoyable to look at. Ridiculously short though. :(

Not bad.

I'm not going to trash on being inspired by Alvin or anything, hell, I'm inspired by his work myself, but I think you need to work on special effects and sounds so they're not such an obvious re-use.

I think the lag issue that people mentioned from episode one (and probably here too) is from over-use of blurs, I've encountered that problem while mucking around in Flash myself.

Aside from that I think you show promise... just need to try more of your own thing instead of mimicking Alvin (that goes for a lot of sprite animators here).

metlwing responds:

really, I've noticed I'm moving further away from Alvin (though I still am inspired), and started getting my own style.

I can explain these things:

The blurs, are because when your moving a background fast, I gets very choppy looking without a blur.

By re-examing the part where the lag grew, it was a fast transition to black, and I forgot to movieclip the bg. I found out that when it creates objects called tween1, etc. it creates lag when you try to move or blur it. that might help you too.

The effects I use I found from a DBZ website, and I did use that screech sound effect with the double side spreading thing too much. And thank you for that advice.

Thank you, but I think also, even in this one, my own style is developing. I found that when I animated in another program (TISFAT) with stick figures, I started off emulating others styles, but through that, my own naturally emerged. I hope that happens here.

good review!

Amazing!

Epic. I loved it. The game battle looked realistic and spot-on. The voice acting was perfect and hilarious. Keep up the great work, I can't wait to see more!

mysteryguy79 responds:

Thanks man. I was trying to go for a really basic fight, like you said, so I'm glad it worked. Makes the craziness at the end all the better and more epic.

Not bad at all for a first try.

Certainly better than the first thing I did with Flash! The music wasn't bad either, although I thought the sound quality was a little low which made the lyrics hard to make out. At the small size of 3.1 megs, you have room to use a higher quality sound file (if available). I'm eager to see more from you in the future!

Well...

It looks promising, I like the darker style, but it was just 18+ minutes of dialogue, which is, as far as I know, something viewers hate. I'm also (this is my extremely picky side speaking) put off that your version of MegaMan changed three times between the two previews and the actual episode. I hope you know your MegaMen, because they're not all the same person with different forms or whatever.

I reserve additional judgement for when you get episode two out with (hopefully) some action that can be judged. I'm not going to be overly critical of setting up the storyline, as I realize that's something that has to happen.

Consistancy

Still fantastic animation.

Still terribly boring and stupid humor.

Not bad.

It shows potential. Sonic looked great, it looked like Sonic Team themselves drew and animated him. Metal Sonic could've used a little work, though I know from trying to draw him myself that he's a little more tricky to get a handle on. I look forward to seeing more.

S'alright...

I dunno. It needs something. Maybe just a faster framerate to allow for tighter lip syncing. It seemed to drift and blur together a lot on some of the quickier lyrics.
